Author Visit Inspires Budding Writers

Earlier this week we were privileged to welcome children's author, Fay Evans, who came into Forest to share her new book Bob's Beard with the school and talk about her experiences as a writer.  Some classes participated in writing workshops with Fay, which helped to inspire them and broaden their imagination!

Faye said: “As an author, I love sharing my stories with children and seeing how my books spark their imaginations. What’s most important for me is inspiring young readers and writers through language, literacy, learning, and laughter.”

Hopefully, the children will use their new-found skills in the school poetry competition next half term…
