Bringing Learning to Life: Year 6 Evacuees

Earlier this week, Year 6 stepped back in time and became wartime evacuees. Before entering school, their identification cards were inspected.

Throughout the day, Mrs Knowles had planned a variety of activities linked to the war theme. They enjoyed their ‘Make do and Mend’ where children utilised what little materials they had to create Christmas decorations. Chef Simon very kindly offered to bake wartime biscuits with the children, who then took them home as a treat for their parents.
