Sharing Achievements with Parents: Open Classrooms

Here at Forest, celebrating achievements and successes is part of our routine.

Our Friday morning assemblies are something in which children, from Nursery all the way to Year 6, look forward to. Presented by Mr Booth, it is an opportunity to celebrate all things Forest: whether that be each class’s Pupil of the Week, French stars of the week, House Champions of the week or worthy sporting achievements.

In addition to school accomplishments, children are encouraged to bring in any out-of-school achievements to share with the rest of the school.

Recently, we have been inviting parents in, one class at a time, to share in the school-related accomplishments of their children. It is a delight to see the very proud faces of our foresters as they share their learning with parents, grandparents, and sometimes small siblings!
