Thank you to all the parents who took the time to complete our recent Parent Survey. We greatly value your feedback and are delighted with the overwhelmingly positive response from our parent community.
Celebrating What Parents Value Most
The survey identified several areas where parents expressed very high levels of satisfaction, particularly in communication surrounding academic progress and the relationships between staff and families.
Parents reported strong confidence that:
- Communication about assessments, reports and academic expectations is clear and easy to understand
- Teachers communicate effectively with families
- Staff are responsive and approachable when parents have questions or concerns.
Several themes emerged consistently as key strengths of Forest Prep School:
High-quality teaching that supports and challenges children to achieve their best.
Exceptional pastoral care, with children recognised and celebrated as individuals, while their unique strengths and talents are nurtured.
A warm and welcoming community, where children and families feel valued and supported.
Small class sizes and dedicated teaching assistants, enabling personalised attention and strong relationships.
A strong school ethos, encouraging positive values, behaviour and the development of well-rounded individuals.
Parents also praised the broad range of opportunities available beyond the classroom, recognising the balance between academic learning and wider experiences that enrich children’s development.
Looking Ahead
The feedback received will play an important part in influencing the school’s strategy and future plans so that Forest Prep continues to be such a special place to learn and grow.
