The Results Are In – They are Music to our Ears!

Congratulations to all our wonderful musicians who achieved outstanding results in their ‘Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music’ (ABRSM) examinations. All their hard work and talents shone through!

The exams spanned from Initial to Grade 3, embracing a range of skills and levels. Of the eight violinists, five pianists, one trumpeter, and one singer, their results were outstanding. Together we swooped six Distinctions, eight Merits, and one Pass.

This year, for the first time, we had violin entrants, taught by Mrs. Woodward, who joined Ms Wellings’ pianists and singers and a solo trumpeter, instructed by Miss Shaw. Each student had diligently prepared through their peripatetic music lessons, mastering three pieces or songs, alongside the essential technical work of scales, and the challenging task of sight-reading and aural tests.

Well done to all our pupils, it is evident that we have very talented musicians here at Forest.
