This term we would like to introduce our youngest group of singers at Forest, known as the ‘Forest Seedlings Choir’. The choir is made up of children in Reception and Year 1 who just love to sing, love to perform and love to dance!
The Seedlings Choir is led by our Director of Music, Ms Wellings, alongside our Year 6 Music Captain, ND; his enthusiasm for singing is contagious and the children’s faces light up with big smiles from ear-to-ear when he sings with them.
Singing songs helps children to boost their vocabulary and language skills and the act of singing helps them to feel happy and lift their mood.
‘The Seedlings’ meet one morning play time each week. Keep a look out for their first performance date, you won't want to miss it!
