Mrs Eley Marks 40 Years at Forest!

During our recent Speech Night celebrations, it was a pleasure to present Mrs Eley with the ‘Susie Kendrew Shield for Enhancing Life at Forest.' Each year, whilst writing my highlights speech, I think of all the things that have stood out for me over the past 12 months. This is often an incredibly challenging task, as we do such a wide variety of activities throughout all areas of the school: I can never quite decide which to reflect upon.

This year proved a lesser challenge, as I was proud and privileged to share my stories of a colleague and her incredible long service that spans over 40 years (and counting!).

Mrs Eley lives and breathes all things Forest and both pupils and staff are very fortunate to have her as part of our community. I know for sure that our much-missed colleague, Mrs Kendrew, will be looking down upon us with such equal feelings.

Congratulations, Mrs Eley, and long may your Year 3 reign continue!
