The Forest community is made up of several important parts, which create that unique whole school community. This week, we say goodbye to one important member of staff who has brought fun, support and immense loyalty to the staff team and to the Forest way of life, Mr McNally.
Mr McNally, our ever-chirpy caretaker, has decided that now is the time to hang up his overalls, put down the paintbrush and hand over his (huge) set of keys, in order to spend more time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Over the years, Mr McNally has been a very popular figure with colleagues and parents, but most of all, with the pupils. His friendly character always makes the children smile, perhaps so, due to his sense of fun and quick wit.
This Friday will be a sad day for Forest, as we bid him farewell into the exciting world of retirement.
Mr McNally-from all your friends on the staff-front and from the countless children you have supported and entertained over the years, we wish you the very best for a long, happy and healthy retirement.
Stepping into Mr McNally's big working boots is Mr Gavin Pawson.
