We are absolutely delighted to celebrate the outstanding examination success of our Year 6 pupils, the Class of 2026. Their achievements reflect not only their dedication and perseverance, but also the supportive and nurturing environment that defines life at Forest Prep.
This year’s results are a tremendous accomplishment:
- 75% of Year 6 pupils who sat a selective grammar school examination successfully passed at least one of the school examinations.
- An impressive 70% pass rate was achieved for those who took a selective state grammar school exam.
- Most importantly, 100% of our Year 6 pupils have secured a place at a secondary school that is right for them.
While we are extremely proud of the academic success represented in these statistics, what matters most to us is that every child is moving on to a school where they will be happy, confident and able to flourish. At Forest Prep, we firmly believe that when children are happy, they thrive. These results are testament not only to academic preparation, but to the warm, encouraging ethos of our happy little school.
At Forest Prep our 11+ preparation is carefully structured and begins as early as Year 2, when pupils are introduced to non-verbal reasoning and begin developing the core skills that underpin future exam success. Over the years, this foundation is strengthened through consistent teaching and personalised support, ensuring that each child is equipped with both the knowledge and confidence to perform at their very best. We work hard to build partnerships which are so influential in helping the children succeed.
