On behalf of The Lalley Centre in Manchester, Dee and Chris Drake operate a Christmas toy appeal each year, to provide Christmas toys to children living in poverty. The Appeal has been running since 2013.
On Wednesday this week, Dee came into school again to talk to the children about the importance of their role in helping to put a smile on hundreds of children's faces this Christmas. This year, Forest Prep have set a task for our pupils to bring in a new or unused toy to donate to this very worthy charity.
When asked, all children appeared up for the challenge! Let’s see if we can match (if not beat!) our efforts from last year…
