Over the last year, childrens' competitive sport has been one school activity which has been difficult to safely continue. As restrictions ease and with all precautions being taken, our Year 6 class were lucky enough to take part in the Bellevue Northern Schools Sports Festival.
The sports event, including children from Brabyns Prep, Edenhurst Prep and Forest Park Prep, gave the opportunity for our Foresters to represent their school in one of two teams. Giving them all the opportunity to play in a safe, social yet competitive sports competition.
Each of our teams took part in a variety of Multi-Sports, including: bench ball, dodgeball, athletics and finishing the day, with a round robin tournament of rounders.
Each Forest team represented the school with great pride and showed fantastic enthusiasm for each sport. They allowed each player to shine as part of the team and each worked very well together. Well done Year 6.
