On Thursday 13th May, the children throughout the school were sponsored to cycle, scooter, run and skip to help raise money for Reuben’s Retreat.
Children were challenged to complete 23 minutes of continuous movement around the grounds and, as ever, our determined Foresters were keen to earn their sponsor money and try their best.
The event was in honour of Reuben Michael Graham, who tragically passed away in August 2012, aged just 23 months. The charity, which his mother set up, Reuben’s Retreat, is a home-from-home for families bereaved of a child and for children with life limiting or threatening conditions and their parents and siblings.
Each year, we proudly do all we can to help raise money for this wonderful cause and the amazing work the charity does. We are so proud of all the children for their efforts and thank all those who contributed to the sponsorship of such a worthy cause.
